Remove DRM from WMF11?

Hi,

Some of you may know me from Digital Digest... but I have to have this discussion here due to their rules.

I'm getting a Zune for Christmas, so to get a head-start I installed the Zune software and added stuff to my library.

But one of the annoying things about that program is that it's bundled with Windows Media Format Runtime 11. The "Automate UnDRM" program (that uses drmdbg and drm2wmv) won't work on it.

Supposedly they made a new drmdbg that works on WMF11. I tried it, and all it did was play the video.

Does anyone know how to successfully remove DRM from files when you have WMF11 installed? If need be, I'll just uninstall the Zune and find third-party software instead :rolleyes:

No, this is on my real machine...

Installing Zune on the VMWare wouldn't accomplish anything... my CPU lags far too much to run even any bit program on it.

I'm not trying to convert them...
I can do that with a program called SoundTaxi I bought a couple years ago.

I'm trying to just remove the DRM and keep the rest of the file intact, so if it's a 3MB WMA it stays a 3MB WMA, no re-encoding
