Hi!

Can anyone help me with a problem ?

Firstly I have MKV file.
Im using Mkvextract to extract AVI from MKV.
Then Im using Yamb to get the VC-1 from AVI.
In result I have an error (cant remember for now)
I dont know if this error critical or not but in result I have VC-1 file, which I need to import to Scenarist.
But when I import this file into Scenarist I have an error like "This stream is not VC-1" or smth like that.
But Im sure this stream is VC-1 (using Mediainfo to get the information about MKV)

What Im doing wrong ?
What I have to use to get VC-1 imported to Scenarist ? Or maybe there are another ways to do Authoring ?

Thanks!

What output (container) format for mkvextract did you use? Anyway, if you use −−fullraw you already get a VC-1 stream.

in MKV I have AVI container.
Im using GUI version.
When I used console version to extract the MKV I had VC-1 in result (with --fullraw), but I had errors when imported this stream to Scenarist 4.2.
I've not tried in version 4.5 yet, will that help ?

Is it normal to have AVI container inside the MKV container ?

Thanks

mkvextract changes the container to avi (if used correctly). There's no avi in mkv.
