the title says it all (hopefully) :)

my idea was to rip the bd, take the .m2ts-file of the "main"-movie, transfer it via twonky and play it on the the ps3.

but this doesn't work :-(

It only works if the movie is mpeg and avc, but with some avc (I've read) they will only work if you strip out all the extra tracks with TsRemux.

With Twonky you have to rename it to xxxx.mpg. Then if it's AVC/AC3 it will play (sometimes).

I've had really inconsistent results with playback on the PS3. Sometimes AVC/AC3 .m2ts works sometimes it doesn't. If I run mpeg through VideoRedo it doesn't play. It's really not reliable.

FYI: DivX .avi's don't work off Twonky either. I don't have a workaround for that one.

Isn't there any way to stream an m2ts bd rip file from the PC to the PS3 whatever UPNP server is used ?

By playing I mean not only playing the AC3 audio but also the other audio streams ?

I've also tried twonky and the PS3 sees the file but then can't read it...
