View Full Version : Avidemux - Filters don't apply when exporting an image

Hi,

I have an interlaced DV-AVI of which I want to export some images. I used the yadif deinterlacer which works if I export as a video, but it doesn't work if I save as an image.
As it seems none of the filters works on the SAVE -> SAVE ... IMAGE dialog.
So is there any way to use filters on exported images?

Thanks in advance, Filbert

It seems filters don't apply to saving as images.
I don't know if this is the desired behavior, but at the moment I cannot see a way to enable filters on images...

But you can still do it that way:
Add all your filters, set video to "FFV1", set audio to "Copy", set format to AVI and save as Video file.
Now export the images from the new (filtered) video file...

Thanks for your answer. I already used to do it that way, which is a little bit time consuming on full dv files so I thought there has to be another trick ;-)

Maybe this should be reported as a bug as I don't think this behavior is very useful. :)

You could save some time by filtering only the part of the DV file from which you want to export the images later...
