In the ffdshow audio decoder configuration,I Can't find the
Ac3 decoder don't have libavcodec.
So I asked ,ffdshow Ac3 decoder support libavcodec?

Because my dvdrip audio is 6 channels.
But the man's voice is too low and the background Voice is too strong ,form the AudioPlayer
I see the kmplayer has ac3 decoder libavcodec

did you try the latest ffdshow-tryout build within liba52 ?

did you try to tweak ffdshow audio settings for each channels ? (Volume tab)


all in all, adding libavc for AC3 decoding into ffdshow should be easy to do...:)

If channel volumes are balanced, this effect could also be caused by dynamic range compression (DRC). It can usually be set on or off somewhere in the decoder or player settings.

I do the ffdshow audio settings of the Volume tab,the man's voice is Ok!
