using ffdshow version nov 29 2005 21:46:33.
I had this all working great on windows 2000. I had my pc speakers hooked up and the spdif optical hooked up to my digital reciever. I used to be able to get ac3 audio (5.1) sent to my reciver and sound sent to my pc speakers at the same time. that way i could just turn off the pc speakers if i wanted to use the home theater and turn off the reciever if i just wanted to use the pc speakers.
So i installed windows xp and the latest version of ffdshow and couldn't get it to work. I could do either pc speakers OR 5.1 to my reciever but not both at the same time like before. So i installed the old version listed above that i used beofre and i still can't get it to work. I remember i had this trouble on win2k but i eventually got it to work. i just can't remember what i did.
I have win xp pro, the older version of ffdshow listed above, and realtek ac97 sound, and media player classic. what do i need to do?thanks
