copying a scratched DVD? is it possible

hi is there a tool like blindread that i can copy a scratched dvd? does this will have any effect when encoding to divx? i don't care if the damaged parts but will it make the encoding possible? thanx

DVDDecrypter has option to ignore read errors. Newer versions work pretty fast with damaged disks.
I encoded couple damaged DVD, and usually errors were barely noticable. However, it can sometimes cause crash of encoding programm.
If there is too much error, DVDDecrypter will work too slow. In such case it's better to skip whole damaged section of DVD. You can use Sector Extractor for it. With some help of ISOBuster or similar to get adresses...
