AAC 5.1 to AC3 5.1

I have a MKV file. I want to play in PowerDVD. So I want to convert it into XviD file. But I am not able to convert that AAC 5.1 track into AC3 5.1

So how can I convert it? Also is there any single way to convert the whole MKV to XviD?

To convert aac 5.1 -> ac3 5.1 you can use:

- Command line tools like Faad and Aften
- Foobar2000 convert with Aften encoder
- AviSynth methods (BeHappy, Wavi or Soundout) with your DirectShow aac decoder, and Aften encoder.
