Cinevision continues to crash?

Every time I choose a file for input it crashes. Don't know what else to do at this point. Hope someone has some possible answers?

My system specs:

Asus motherboard m2a-vm hdmi amd 690g
Athlon 64 X2 6000 3.0G - windsor
4G DDR2 memory
1T HDD space

I have QT installed. No DirectX yet. Just seeing if someone can help me get my system up to speed
