Trying to get back unreferenced material

1) I have a bad rip . I run the output of the ripper through VobBlanker and I have 600 Mg of unreferenced material included in a titleset named VTS_VIDEO.VOB and some unfamous 2k cells in other VOBs (that are located at the beginning and the end of the movie).
Are those issues related and is there one way to recuperate this unreferenced material using PGCEdit?
Or should I wait for newer versions of the ripper?
2) Usually ( for other movies) , when I run the output of the ripper through PGCEdit, I only have "Uncalled PGCs" (no unreferenced material and no 2k cells).
Should I do something about it or can I just delete them.

If you rip it with RipIt4Me instead, you'll see that file reduced to a miniscule 76Kb (It's apparently a "padding file")...

To answer your original question, which is an interesting one generically, you need to add some cells to the cell table and with IfoEdit (http://www.videohelp.com/tools/IfoEdit) change their cell IDs and entry and exit sectors to the cell numbers which are unreferenced.

Well, there is an easier solution. The "Play All" PgcEdit plugin can do it automatically. Just select any PGC in the domain, and call "Create a new PGC with only unreferenced VOB cells". A new PGC will be added at the end of the domain, containing all VOB cells not referenced elsewhere. You will have to modify the navigation manually to call the new PGC.

But usually, unreferenced material is useless. As Setarip said, it's probably only some padding sectors (quite common in VIDEO_TS.VOB.)
