i have a philips dvd player with divx support about half my movies wont show up. whats the fastest way to convert my non divx codec movies to divx without issues.

The simplest way may be to simply make new DivX-compressed .AVIs from your original DVDs...

If you don't know the format of your movies, then you did not create them from original DVDs. Therefore this is a rule 6 violation. Thread closed.
