Hi,
I read up on DeLogo, but I just don't get it. It has a lot of options and is very complex for me to use. I finished the project I mentioned yesterday and would like to continue my AviSynth learning by trying to remove something I had captured from TV. I have a nicely cropped image to show what I mean. The image is attached to this post.
The image the US TV rating BS that's really annoying to see on videos. If you look closely at the white part, you can see the dude's head behind the white. To make it more complex, the black part is also transparent. It's more opaque than transparent and I read that DeLogo doesn't do well with stuff that is more on the opaque side. Is this true? Are there any settings/methods than can return this square back to the original colors? The info is there in the picture, but barely so I know there will be some loss, but it must be better than having that logo there.
If I use a traditional method of treating this video as having an opaque logo, then this dudes head gets chopped off.
The image is from an Anime, so there are very similar colors, so I think it can be rebuilt, but I just don't have the skill to do so.
