I'm extremely interested in WMP's Play Speed feature. I use it on WMV9 content in the ASF container successfully, but it doesn't seem to work for any other format!
Experimenting, I found that the feature works on a test XVID with no audio in both AVI and MKV containers. It also works on an MP3 audio file. Unfortunately, it will not work on the same video with the tested MP3 audio muxed in.
I have not yet been able to mux in WMA9 audio with an XVID sample video stream in the AVI or MKV containers.
Does anyone have any insight as to what works with this feature other than WMV9?
