Hello i have recently downloaded some .avi files which have come in two parts and what i would like to do is to join the two files to create a larger file to convert to a dvd.

Now i have a piece of software from boilsoft.com to allow me to join them but when i run the files, i get an error stating that the audio bitrates are different, and the joining fails.

What i would like to know is, is it possible to alter the bitrate? to make them equal? or is there any other solution?

thanks for any advice?

Hi!

This is a duplicate post of your 12/05 post, which was closed by a moderator, because it violated Rule #6. See:

Duplicate posting is also a violation of the rules of the Doom9 forums...

Read the sticky in the Newbies forum too.

We do not help with downloaded files. Don't ask for help with them again or you'll be struck, as two warnings is more than enough.
