Ever since I could remember I could NOT stream avi files on the net, I would always have to download them in whole, and then play. And then I got a new laptop, with vista, and somewhere along the line, it was able to do it! Some magical codec got installed that allowed me to stream XviD and DivX when I clicked a link in the web browser. Unfortunately I had to reformat my laptop, and now I'm back to square 1. I was hoping one of you guys could put a finger on the codec that can do this rather than the "keep trying till I find one that works" technique I have been using. Or perhaps its a setting somewhere in something..... Any ideas?
