Ratatouille Audio out of Sync

I am trying to backup my sons Ratatouille DVD to divx. But no matter what I do the sound is out of sync.

Anyone else had problems with this movie? How can the sync problem be solved?

1) What software and procedures did you use to rip your original DVD?

2) What software and procedures did you use to convert the rip to DivX-compressed .AVI format?

you can try different kinds of dvd ripper software to help you,just google search for get them~

Just rip the disk with DVDFab HD Decrypter before encoding.

I used both AnyDVD and CloneDVD to rip it to my HD. I then used DGIndex 1.5.0 beta 13 to make a D2V file, as well as extracting the audio tracks as ac3 files. After that I pulled the D2V file into VDubMod and converted to divx using divx 6.7.

The rip went ok as far as I can tell any way. As did the conversion to divx but the audio is out of sync when I put it all together.

That is about all I can tell you. If there is more you need I will try to provide it.

I will also try DVDFab to see if that helps any.

What audio delay was reported in the AC3 filename, and did you allow for it when encoding in VirtualDubMod?

-89ms was the delay reported and yes I allowed for it in my encoding. However the sound is not just a little off its well off by several seconds.

I used to have all sorts of problems with clone dvd to the point I just removed it.

CWR03 is right , Fab should do it. Try movie only.
If I have a problematic one , I turn to dvd shrink , re author,and cut out everything up to the start of the movie.

Ratatouille has 3 fake cells (0 Mb) at the begining.

Try with the last Dvd Fab HD Decrypter with the option Remove useless cells actived.

Sorry it took so long to get back... DVD Fab seems to have done the trick. The sync problem now seems to have been solved. I guess the movie just wasn't being decrypted correctly with the other software.

I'd love to really learn about cells and the like. And how menus and stuff are made. You guys know of any real good sites/tutorials I can start with?

I have had no problem with AnyDVD and CloneDVD. I use avi.net or autogk to encode the movie and did not have a sync problem.
