divx4.12 install problem please help [Archive]

hi i have installed 4.12 and it works fine i have a few rips with excently quality, recently i get an error that comes in a box headed anticrash and the ccontents stay "file wrapper error (get frame)" i have no idea what this means, so i tried reinstalling the codec again and i get a message that i did not get before saying " error opemimg file for writing: e:\winnt\system32\divxdec.ax" hit abort or ingnore to continue. another problem i encontered is that my mp3 settings only went up to 56kbp, so installed lame 3.91 with no effect then i reinstalled radium and i had my usual 160k. i dont know what to do and i am not able to encode please help, i been using xing but tried gnot and it failed crashed.

hi i did thanks, but after a while of xing going the fps goes from 14 to 0, program does not crash, but the fps is 0 and time carries on ? i dont know what is going on, please help guys, i got like 4 of my movies to sort out. thanks people.
