Yeah...:D with the new KDE 4, we should be able to run all KDE apps on windows too, especially this great Audio player (http://amarok.kde.org/).

Don't count on me to make a build though...

It does beg the question... why the hell did KDE devs switch over to the dark side? :D

well because KDE is based on Qt libraries which are X-plateform. ;)

Bah, who cares about windows anymore?
I haven't used a Windows box in over a month, and it's fantastic! Remember, amarok was originally for linux, so we had it first!

Well...most of the time it's windows apps which are ported to linux. Now that we have the opposite, we don't get to complain.

I'm a Linux and Window user and I do understand the need for a decent audio player when using Linux, but I can't understand why would anyone want to use Amarok on Windows when there's foobar2000. It is hands down the best (personal opinion :)) audio player, tagger, converter, ripper coffee maker... and what not, and best of all there's plenty of plugins and skins, and not to forget that it is free and open source.
Cheers,

Tottaly agree with DSP8000, foobar2000 > all.

fb2k isn't opensource and I prefer this player too on windows comparing to amarok. Just a question of habits probably...The most missing feature on linux audio player is a *real* gapless support.
