But ther is other frameserver (not powerfull ad AVISynth) that read the file.AVS, from Microsoft the Windows Media Encoder for example.

Or without AVISynth installed MS-WME don't work?

Windows Media Encoder CAN read avs. AviSynth isn't a prerequisite..

And btw can read avs thank to activix that handle avs as avi file
