View Full Version : CCE Mode grayed out

I have v1.26.5 PRO and CCE SP2 only installed (no CCE basic or SP). I can select CCE SP2 under Settings -> CCE Settings -> CCE SP2 Trial, but Mode -> Encoder -> CCE Mode is grayed out!. Am I missing something, or is this a sanity check bug?

Seems you've found a bug.
I can confirm that if only CCE SP2 is installed, CCE is greyed out.

As there is no setup entry for SP2 (it'll be read straight from the registry) try this as a workaround:
Settings => Setup => under CCE SP (2.5) choose CCE SP2's ccew.exe

Now you should be able to choose CCE under Mode. Make sure under settings that CCE SP2 Trial (Beta Test) is still ticked. Do not choose CCE SP (2.50)!

I'm pretty sure jdobbs will fix this for the next release.

Thanks Rippraff. That was basically the workaround I used about 2 minutes after my post ;) I originally didn't think DVDRB would let me choose an exe with a different name than cctsp.exe, but it worked OK.

Hmm... I'll give it a look.

Thanks for the report.

I just assumed thats what you had to do if you had CCE SP2, its always been like that

You had to have CCE SP installed along with CCE SP2 , then you could choose CCE SP2 as you're encoder otherwise it was never selectable if you just had CCE SP2 installed on its own
