I have a few stubborn titles that refuse to sync the audio properly with the video.
I have followed a suggestion from the FAQ that says to rip the movie from the dvd using DVDshrink in re-author mode.
The AVI is created no problem, the audio & video are in sync but the colour has been separated, similar to a rear projection tv with the convergence WAAYYYY off. I tried this on 2 different dvds and i get the same result.

Anyone with any suggestions?

OK my bad, all my previous Xvids are playing back like that now, but only in Windows Media Player. They seem ok in Divx Player.
The only problem is, what have i done? They were playing fine in WMP before...I uninstalled & reinstalled BOTH Xvid 1.13 & Divx 6.70 codecs, but still having the problem..

Help!

Hmmm..well, found some threads regarding fooling with some overlay settings in WMP11, didnt help at all. Decided to click the "restore defaults" button in
TOOLS -> OPTIONS -> PERFORMANCE Tab.
That did the trick.
Hope this helps someone :)
