Power Calibration Area Error

I am using IMGBURN softward to burn, however before its ready to burn I am getting this error "Power Calibration Area Error" , what is my next step. I am unable to proceed.

Thank you. Brand new DUAL LAYER BURNER MATSHITA +RW ug-857g, might it be defective. I did have luck with a just one sucessful burn earlier.
