Convert HD WMV to VOB or MPG2 ?

I have some HD WMV's that I want to stream to my tivos. I can't get pytivo to stream them natively (ffmpeg craps out) so i want to downconvert them to VOB or another MPG2 format. Any converter out there that can handle this ? I used to use Nero Recode but no dice with HD wmv.

Any help is appreciated !
