Difference between Const. Quantizer and Const. Quality (in megui/x264?)

One takes floating point values and the other doesn't... is that only difference?

Constant Quantizer = literally that.

CRF = Constant Quality = gives higher quants to complex frames, and lower quants to simpler frames... resulting in overall higher quality for the same bitrate. Should basically always be used instead of Constant Quantizer.
