x264 and LCD monitors

Hello folks -

Is there any specific settings that I can apply in order to make the picture look good on LCD monitors? The videos look SO bad on LCD/Plasma monitors... That's amazing.

Well, if your video was poorly encoded it's going to naturally look horrible on anything, more on LCDs and Plasmas and less so on CRTs since they do a better job at hiding artifacts.

Can you provide a sample screenshot of what your playback looks like?
