Is there anyway to get Media Player Classic to maintain the aspect ratio of the movie when MPC is in full screen mode? WMP automatically letterboxes instead of stretching, is there a way to get MPC to do that? By the way the Keep Aspect Ratio option under View->Video Frame doesn't work, I tried that.

MPC keeps the AR by default. So if it isn't working then it is because you messed with the settings.

That's entirely possible I suppose. Which setting controls that, do you know?

what was the issue, as i didnt touch any settings and mine letterboxes, plus when i open a file the video is playing at its encoded resolution but the player is only viewing like 1/4 of it till u go to video 100% lol or maximize it

well i seemedtofix the only showing 1/4 of the file when opening, had to change the autozoom to 100%, for full screen kinda fixed it but then onyl works for the 1 file, gotta change it for each file thats not the same resolution lol, if playing a file 800x600, in the output tab in options, u gotta change full screen to 800x600, but if u play a 640x480 file it will have black borders till u change taht to full screen 640x480, pretty dumb anyway, should play full screen for any resolution grr

well stretched to window seems to work for any res now, no need for the full screen to be checked in options playback
