apologize first if i'm asking a stupid question, and sorry for my pool english
i'm using MPlayer to play a DVD disc with an external subtitle file, using command line like:
mplayer dvd://1 -sub 1.srt
the movie played smoothly without any problem, but the time reset at about 1:26:03, the movie goes on continuously, but the time goes on from 0:00:00, that makes the subtitle goes from the beginning...
that really confuses me, why did this happen?
i'm using vista, and Gianluigi Tiesi's win32 Mplayer build from here:
http://oss.netfarm.it/mplayer-win32.php
i read the MPlayer Mingw mailing list, but i don't have the right to post to it, so here is my last hope :(
later i tried to use Media Player Classic with VSFilter (clsid's builds) to play this film, but the subtitle goes out of sync, seems subtitle goes just a little slower than the film itself, which only happen when using subtitle on a DVD disc, it never happen on an avi file, well this is another problem
