I'm looking to add Musepak for my audio files for r4r. Can anyone please tell me how to go about doing that and the command line code to use?
Thx
-Saph
PS: Curious to know how many more would like to have Musepak in their rips... I'll set up a poll.

What's r4r? More pertinantly, what format are these files you want to add musepack to? Also, why musepack, over more or less equally efficient but more popular codecs such as AAC or Vorbis?

r4r = Robot4Rip
Generally, I rather Vorbis than AAC, but I rather MPC than Vorbis.
I just 'wish' to encode in MPC if you could help with my search it would be greatly appreciated.

Does robt4rip support MKV output? If not, the answer is simply: not possible. If it does, you would have to ask someone who uses this program.

Musepack (beta version) (http://r2d.musepack.net/files/musepack_bin_20071123.zip)
mpcenc --quality 5 (standard, 170kbit/s)
mpcenc --quality 6 (xtreme, 200kbit/s)
mpcenc --quality 7 (insane, 220kbit/s)
The way you could use the commandlines, is by moving mpcenc.exe from the archive to C:\ or a similar directory (here, we'll be using C:\), and enter
"C:\mpcenc" --quality 5 youraudiohere.wav
mpcenc --quality 5 youraudiohere.wav
