Having used both the BBC's iPlayer service (and been very satisfied with it) and Channel 4's 4oD service, and found that both use the same basic program (and WM DRM :mad:), this is only good news in my book.
The service will go live in 2008, and the existing services from the BBC, ITV and Channel 4 will stay alongside the aggregate service from the 3 big broadcast companies.
