I hope I have put this topic in the right place.....
I am burning an avi file that has two languages. To play it in English on the computer, I use VLC and select audio track 2.... What I want to do is burn it on a dvd and have it play in English. I cannot figure out how to do this.... Can anyone help?? Please!

Welcome to Doom9.
If you want to play in most DVD players, then you'll need to convert it to DVD format.
Have a look at DVD Flick or SUPER.

I have a multimedia player which plays avi files. I can play this file on the multimedia player, but not in English.

Open the file with VirtualDubMod, click Streams > Stream list, disable the first audio file, click Video > Direct Stream Processing, then save with a new, unique filename and burn.

Thank You Very Much - I am in the process of doing what you say. It looks as though it will take a while - thanks for taking the time to reply.

Hi!It looks as though it will take a whileIf you've set "Video" to "Direct Stream Processing" (as you should), the process should take no more than a couple of minutes...
