View Full Version : Restarting crashed DVD-RB session

I had a power surge which took my m/c out which had completed close to 95% of the rebuild. I was just wondering is there any way to make DVD-RB restart from somewhere without loosing most of the previously done re-encoding.

Press Encode button and it will prompt you

Last encode was apparently paused. Resume from last successful encode? Answering "No" will reencode all files

In there click "Yes" to resume from last succesfully encoded file.

Though one thing I am not sure about if you have "Mode->One Click" checked? If it is checked. in that case, may be by unchecking it will make "encode " button active and you can proceed from there.

Thanks for the tip, I hope that from the next time I can restart it. I have one click mode checked, i have already restarted it.

Sorry, that's wrong.

If he's at 95% of the rebuild there's no reason to run the encode phase again.

Just press Rebuild instead, even if the encode phase hasn't finished yet, RB would resume at the right place. That's RB's 2-Click-Mode (Pro version). :)
