I've been able to get 720p US HDTV files to work well on my PS3. I've been less successful with 1080i files - I get a lot of choppiness. These are almost all movies so I should be able to take them and encode them 1080p24. This would also help get 2 hour movies to fit on one DVD9.
My question is how the heck do I get these MPEG TS files converted into H.264 m2ts files that I can then load into tsremux? I would need something that can deinterlace them from 1080i as well as put them into h.264.
