That sounds like a spurious delay, due to black frames at the start. Start your project in by a few GOPs from the start and see if you get a more sane delay value.

@kingofking

Hi!

1) What is the Title and Region of your original DVD?

2) What software and procedures did you use to rip your original DVD?

Sorry, I don't support MeGUI.

You can do it manually with DGMPGDec, but you'll have a learning curve.

Yep, that should definitely do it, I've had the same problem myself in the past! To get a around it:
- Go to the folder where the vob files are, delete every non-vob file. Just makes it neater and possibly save a wrong file being used somewhere!
- Manually load Dgindex. Not sure the exact location when using MEGUI, but it would be under the folder there somewhere.
- Load the moive only vob files (the ones you normally select when selecting the movie files)
- Navigate to the start point of the film using the slider, then click on [
- Navigate to the end and do the same thing (say end of credits) in case there's anything after it as well, and click ]
- Save the file as 'Movie' or whatever, that creates a new d2v file.
- The audio now only occurs between the points of where you selected, and the same goes for the picture when you load the d2v file!

This works perfectly, with DGindex 1.4.9 I think there may be an issue, I'm not entirely sure, but with 1.5.0 rc 3, it works perfectly!

Start point is the point where actual movie starts (after 2 or 3 seconds) or at frame 00:00 ?
