Hi
I'm wondering if any person has any DVB-H (mobile phone or any supported device) experiences?
How it's? Coz i'm going to see if i have a DVB-H mobile phone if it will work in EU such as UK or Spain?
Any ideas about DVB-H??
Thanks!:helpful::D:o

I had DVB-H signal experiences, very little DVB-H devices experience though.
Here in Italy we have DVB-H standard transmission with CBMS ESG and A/V quality is pretty good given the low bandwidth (H.264 320x240 + AAC @ 350 kbps avg.) but almost everything is scrambled thus you need local telco operator SIM to unscramble the content (ATM we have 3 different DVB-H providers), it's for mobile phones only.
Don't know about other countries, but in Finland it seems there's a Nokia based DVB-H version (H.263 and non-standard ESG).

DVB-H isn't in very wide use here in Finland yet, but I do believe the video stream is in H.264 at 320x240. There are only a couple of phones that support the standard and not an awful lot of transmissions, so it will probably take a while for it to catch wind, if it even will. There is also some confusion concerning whether such broadcasts will be freely available or require a separate payment (at the moment the couple of channels that do air DVB-H are free).
