Trying to rip "SiN: The Movie" - Anime.

I am trying to rip this movie. Sure, it's not really good but I am a big fan of the SiN universe.

It is probably one of the worst anime's I've ever seen and it's incredibly hard to work with. It's NTSC also. From what I can see, there is 4 interlaced frames and 1 progressive one. I've never seen anything like this. I do live in PAL land so my NTSC skills aren't super-dooper. Even when watching it on my Interlaced TV, it still seems jagged (where it probably shouldn't)


Any help would be excellent. If need-be, I can post a small clip of the raw footage.


EDIT: This anime has 29.976fps CG footage. So whatever action I take, I can't perform an IVTC to get it back to 23.976fps.

Oh god, hybrid footage. I know what you are going through.

I am using this guide for mkv VFR video:
http://avisynth.org/mediawiki/VFR

And it works great with the 2pass option. It takes some work, but your scene will be smooth with no combs.

If that doesn't work, you will probally have to use YATTA:
http://ivtc.org/

which is time consuming.
