So, I use SUPER to convert FLV files to AVIs. Before I reformatted my computer, this wasn't a problem. But now, when I start the video, there is no sound. That is, until I click around on the player's timeline. After a few clicks back and forth, it kicks back on. It does this on both WMP and Winamp and seems limited to FLV files that have been converted to DivX or Xvid-based AVIs. Occasionally, when I click a few more times, it switches to just a low hum.
This reeks of a corrupted audio codec or something I forgot to reinstall. Gspot returns no problems, so I really don't know where to start. Any ideas that aren't "switch from the programs you're using, they suxxors" would be appreciated.
