Hi, I am transcoding a number of movies taken on a digital camera so the source is MJPEG video with mono 8-bit, 8kHz raw audio data. I have been using MeGUI which uses an AVISynth script to feed the audio to the nero encoder.
Problem is that the resulting AAC file seems to be always slightly longer than the source by a varied amount
As an example, one small file is exactly 3 seconds long with 90 frames of video @ 30fps and 24,000 audio samples @ 8kHz. After encoding, MP4Box shows the following info for the audio:
Track # 1 Info - TrackID 1 - TimeScale 8000 - Duration 00:00:03.328
Media Info: Language "Undetermined" - Type "soun:mp4a" - 26 samples
MPEG-4 Config: Audio Stream - ObjectTypeIndication 0x40
MPEG-4 Audio AAC LC - 1 Channel(s) - SampleRate 8000
Self-synchronized
The video stream is OK with 90 frames and 3 seconds exactly so when Muxed, the movie appears to freeze right at the end as the audio finishes its extra 0.328 seconds. Also the audio has a "blip" at the beginning.
Any Ideas?
