My computer's screen to DVD Recorder

Hello to everybody. And thank you for reading my post.

I am Vlad and I am looking to do the following.

Capture some football matches I have on my computer's hard drive to my standalone DVD Recorder LG RH177.
My Video card has a TV OUT socket.

Could I get a little hints and tips on how should I do this? And what kind of cables should I use?
Or if it is possible?

You would get better quality if you converted them directly to DVD using software, but if you want to use your DVD recorder, it is possible.

Hopefully your DVD recorder has an s-video input. It's a 4-pin mini DIN socket, same as your video card's TV-out. Just buy an s-video cable to link the 2. For the sound you will need a cable with a miniplug one end and 2 RCA plugs (red and white) the other end. Plug the miniplug into your PC's sound card and the red and white RCA plugs into you DVD recorder next to the s-video input.

Go into display properties and enable the TV-out.

Now just start playing the football match on your computer, switch to full screen, then start recording on your DVD recorder.
