CCE 2.62 muxes with wrong packet size. So this is what Nero complains. Demux and remux ...

CCE 2.64 supports VCD and SVCD output for your combination.

And ofcourse use the right settings for VCD or SVCD. Otherwise it's always non-compliant. Personally I always create xSVCD's with 2 channel stereo 48kbps. Nero always complains about that not being compliant. Or the resolution ain't right, or bitrate or or or....

The package size is indeed a problem to Nero that NEEDS to be solved, but simply load the mpg into Nero's MPEGTools - Cut&Paste, save it from there (no need to edit the file for this), and there you have a movie with the right package size, and also the entire size of the file will be some MB's smaller.

I find that when you let CCE mux, by producing an SS automatically, its always no good as mb1 said, but demuxin, and remuxing didnt help!
I wonder how you change that value, or if you can! You may know that cce doesnt do audio well as people say. I am using tmpg to do the audio, and muxxing, and have very good results.

@mb1 But there is the possibility to change the packet size !!! What packet size I have to use ???

Or lets hope that the new CCE 2.64 will be "released" ;) very soon ??? (anyone know details ???)

The right packet size for VCD / SVCD is 2.324

You can set that within cce but it doesn´t hold that value. cce always expects multiples auf 128 ...

Of course audio shouldn´t be done with cce ;)

I have cce 2.64sp demo for one week now and all I have to say forget it.
The only thing they changed to cce 2.62sp is correct svcd and vcd output (means packet size). But remember one shouldn´t do audio with cce ;)

And of course you have to feed 480x480/576 into cce for svcd output because there is no svcd resizer built in it.

Do you use CCE 2.62 or 2.5. Is there a difference in encoding quality or is the difference just that 2.5 takes avs files and 2.62 doesn't.

I use both.

CCE 2.62 gives better quality but you have more problems to frameserve ...

One other question regarding another post, if frameserving via avsynth to CCE is there no file size limit, ie. over 2G?

Yes, you´re right.

Then file size limiter will be your operating system (FAT16; FAT32; NTFS).

No problem to have 25 GB avi with NTFS file system ...:)
