Rebuilder and CCE settings, questions

Hi!
I'm quite new to DVD Rebuilder and have some questions. I have been using GK with XviD for very long time and know many advanced features.
Now I need to convert DVD9 to DVD5 with keeping the menus and extras.
I have read many guides and posts - and there are some options that are still unclear.
1) What is the difference between CCE SP 2.7 and CCE SP2? Which one should I use?
2) What is Bitrate redistribution in DVDRe for and how does it works? Should I turn it on or not? Which mode will give better quality? What are the additional options that I might use?

Quality is what I care for (the time of encoding is secondary). I do not keep extras where DVD9 is over 6.5-7GB. In all the other cases I use 50% for menus and extras.

Sorry if my question are already answered elsewhere, but I'm confused with all I have read.

None, both produce the same mpeg2 stream.

But in short... in most cases, Bitrate Redistribution can help with the over all quality of the encoding.
