Say what?

Colors is colors. If you are talking about rec. 709 and rec. 601, then I think you have a misunderstanding somewhere.

Frankly, if you want help, you are going to need to provide a lot more information. Like what is your source for starters.

AviSynth has Tweak()

All I want is the correct setting for the above command to change my video colour to look llike Region 1 NTSC TV Colour.

Or if there is a better way than the above I wold like to know.
I have Adobe After Effects CS3.

I have a PAL source here & would like to convert the Colour & Resolution (720x576 -> 720x480) to NTSC.

Tweak(Hue=?)
Or use ColorMatrix.

There is no difference between PAL and NTSC colorspace. They used to be YUV versus YIQ, but both are YUV nowadays.

Just change the colour using tweak() then, please. What are the settings ?

I read the above, but obviously by looking at the tv channel's there is a colour diference between PAL & NTSC other than it's resolution. So I would like to emulate the Region 1 NTSC TV colour if I may, please thank you. I hope someone can help me.

what exactly are you doing to see different colours?

on a DVD the colours are identical between NTSC and PAL

on a digital broadcast tape the colours are identical between NTSC and PAL

it's only legacy stuff where there's a difference (like one-inch composite tape), and it's handled by standards converters when it's digitized.

if you're seeing different colours between channels, it may be a channel-specific thing (i hear different TV stations use some different processing in their chains for some reason. never really observed it myself, but certainly they can look a little different).

so you'll have to describe (or better yet, post screenshots) this difference you're looking for, because none of us can really tell from what you're describing (which as far as we can tell is a non-existent difference, but there's definitely something if you can see it).

[edit]

btw, "region 1" is a purely DVD related term. it has no relevance to TV systems or colour encodings whatsoever, rather it's a 3-bit value set in VIDEO_TS.IFO

Perhaps you had better publish 2 small still images that show the difference you are failing so miserably :( to describe. (Picture worth 1000 words).

See the yellow, red & green colours, I would like to emulate such colours in AviSynth v2.5.x for my videos.

Doesn't look like Sci Fi channel to me.

I think you're a troll and so I am closing your silly thread.
