Slight stuttering I should say. The movie is encoded in 23.976fps which is correct. It also has a 5 channel AC3 audio. There is some slight stuttering in the video. I checked the frames in virtualdub and there aren't any repeat frames.
I am pretty sure its the AC3 audio that causing this.
Which is the correct AC3 codec to download?

Use 64 or 96 ms for interleaving.

How interesting that really did work. Thanks for your help.
One more tidbit though, you said 64 or 96 ms, is one preferable to the other? in all cases?
Just curious.

Lower values like 64 will have fewer problems on slower computers, but takes up just slightly more space. It also depends on the bitrate of the AC3, for example 192kbps will be ok at 160 ms.
GordianKnot also gives a suggested interleave value, and it takes the resulting overhead into account for its bitrate calculation.
