A question for DVDRemake Pro 3.6.2: Fake Warning?

Hi,

Everytime I use Bulk replace... or Replace Block... features to replace many blocks/single blocks(which are re-encoded from these original blocks), DVDRemake Pro 3.6.2 shows a warning telling that There were problems performing the operation. Please examine the log for details

However, I think nothing went wrong because the DVD exported worked as I was expected. I just wondered if that was a fake warning?

What was in the log? Sometimes, the streams don't match up exactly and this is what might be being reported.

Because I replaced them with another streams, I demuxed them with PGCDemux, reencoded movie with HC Encoder, remux with Muxman, finally replace with DVDRemake Pro. I meant I replace streams with encoded versions of them in order to make it fit on a DVD5.

If I have to replaced it with NOT another stream, that's not called Replacing.

Everything worked fine if I ignored that warning, but everytime I saw that warning, that's annoying.

The stream attributes need to match. You can't have 2 different audio streams sitting in position 0, for example (just like the video must be the same in a VTS domain). DVDRMP is a just giving you a warning that the streams are out of "alignment".

Yes, they matched. The video I replaced has the same subtitles, same audio tracks, at same VTS, same PGC as well...everything are the same except Video which are encoded.

Perhaps one was English 6 channel, the other 2 channel? Maybe other parts of the attributes did not quite match. Not sure.

I finished it with VobBlank without any warning.
They are the same, I Demux them with PGCDemux, Remux back with Muxman 1.0, including chapters, everything carefully.
I bet you do not have DVDRemake Pro. Is that true:D You need one copy to test it

To the author of DVDRemake Pro: I know you around here...you're busy? I suggest you should give blutach a professional version of DVDRemake Pro for free, I think he deserves it. He's very nice.:D

This warning will pop up if the video/audio/subtitle attributes of the replacing blocks are different from the original based on the IFO. Most of the time you can ignore the warning if you know what you are doing. When you remux with MuxMan, the attributes are usually not exactly the same as the original, but that is OK because you're using the original attributes.
