View Full Version : HD DVD Navigation in Software Players (no .VLS file)

How do I launch an HD DVD using PowerDVD command line for my HTCP software? I simply pass it the .VLS file in the ADV_OBJ folder, but Antarctica Dreaming doesn't have this folder... any ideas how I can open it with PowerDVD? Can I pass it a created ".vls" file perhaps?
Any ideas would be appreciated...
I've tried Nero Showtime 4.1 (only opened 1 out of the 3 HD DVDs I have), and Win DVD (didn't work at all)... MPC can't do HD DVD navigation as far as I know...

Isn't this a double post? The previous tread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=131555) was closed due to rules violation...

@slaman:So, I'm still struggling with how to play these great HD DVD and Blu-ray rips downloaded here...Re-posting the same question and omitting the "nasty bits" quoted above, that were included in your other rules violating post that was closed by a moderator, will likely not be viewed positively:
1) As already pointed out by "Kado", duplicate posting is yet another violation of the rules
2) Trying to "sneak in" a sanitized version of the same rules violating question may not be appreciated by the moderators

I didn't realize you were all moderators - and none of you have any idea of what conversations I've had with them.
Let the moderators decide whether or not this thread is a violation.
On another note, does anyone have any insight into the actual content of the thread?

I wonder why nobody used the report post functionality.. we have it for a reason. Either way, rewriting history is not acceptable here, and this is clearly an attempt to whitewash the post kado mentioned.

They did, but I was asleep before they came in. >.>
