An Urgent Enquiry Regarding AGK 2.45

Dear Friends,

I'm writing to inform you that I'm a new user of this fantastic programme and it's been 2 days since I got the software but I frequently encounter an error which it's much appreciated if somebody could kindly help me out.

I've tried different DVDs but the same error happens every time.

If this is DivX v6.* you are trying with, remove that, install DivX v5.* and try with that.

Thanks for your kind reply.

Just a quick question. How could I find out which divx I'm using and how I could remove it. I've got a lot Divx stuff installed on my pc (Divx codec, divx convertor, Dr. Divx, Divx player).

Also, where could I get DivX v5.*?

If its divx 6 then it needs to be pro (i.e. registered)

You must have installed the whole bundle from their website I presume? DivX codec is what you should remove. The ReadMe.txt, usually in C:\Program Files\DivX\DivX Codec\, should tell you which version it is. If what you have is v6.*, uninstall it and install v5.* from here (http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=divx).
