Does anyone know of a program that will tell you the total frames in a set of vobs? want to check to see if the output from dvd2avi is the same as the original vobs.

If you use VFAPI converter and then open in VirtualDub you can see the exact amount of frames.

VFAPI and VirtualDub are downloadable from the Doom9 site (www.doom9.org) (oops :rolleyes: )

But with vfapi and virtual dub you count only d2v-given frames ;)

Load your vob(s) into Womble mpeg2vcr 3.11 !
Wonderfully shows frame numbers ...

:D With dvd2avi you can see the frames of the vob files too. Just start preview and on the right side there will appear a window with statics of your vob files like frame, interlace/or not
