Container = ? Bytes

Hey guys,
as I could see while surfing through the board, you know a lot about the AVC codec, and its encoders/decoders....
Now I have a question concretely about x264! I decoded a movie scene in VBR using the Main Profile. and now I am wondering how much bytes the end-file gets bigger just because of the container? Or if I didn't express myself precisely: In an AVC-videofile - how many bytes is only the container (.mp4)?
I'd appreciate an answer. Thanks in advance!

The longer the video, the larger the overhead in bytes, but %-wise its very very small (much less than 1%) in most practical cases.

so it counts just as overhead and there is no real byte-size of the container? I am just asking because I thought that the container might aswell contain some special informations just like "how and where to open the file" for example.
But if the answer to my question is as simple as in your post, there's nothing else to say than Thanks for the fast help! :)
