I had AutoGK 2.40, and installed 2.47b on top of that. I tried to encode a movie, and now the sound is few 100s ms ahead of the picture. The difference seems to be same throughout the file.

Any suggestions on how to fix this, not by shifting the sound, but instead encoding properly?

Here are some applicable pieces of the output:

Here is an update, I tried a cleanly reinstalled 2.40 version, and this issue is still there.

So I guess it is this specific movie that has issues, since I did similar compression in the past, and it worked just fine.

Hi!So I guess it is this specific movie that has issues1) What is the Title and Region of your original DVD?

2) What software and procedures did you use to decrypt it?

Had you done any research at all on the subject, you likely would have found that there are movies with advanced copy protection schemes that need to be pre-ripped and processed in order to be encoded directly into a synched file.

Well, I had no prior reason to suspect that such a thing would take place. So if there is a FAQ or a semi-detailed description of this issue somewhere, I'd be happy to study that carefully ...

@would_like_to-know

Further specific assistance may be provided if you would be good enough to answer the two questions I asked of you earlier:

1) What is the Title and Region of your original DVD?

2) What software and procedures did you use to decrypt it?

Sorry, I did not notice your earlier question ...

The movie was "Prestige" [ PRE0NNW1 ], the region is 1. I ripped as a bunch of *vob files [mode IFO I] with DVDDecrypter 3.5.4.0, which was probably wrong. Actually, I just typed PRE0NNW1 in google, and found this:

I guess AnyDVD would have worked ...As would either of the following:

1) RipIt4me
2) DVD95Copy Pro (commercial)

Or, since you've already ripped it with DVD Decrypter v.3.5.4, you can simply load the rip into VOBBlanker, set a new output directory/folder, select "Process all" and then press the "Process" radiobutton
