Encoding selective chapters with meGUI?

Is there a way (hopefully not too convoluted) of encoding just a single chapter using meGUI? I'd like to be able to test various settings without the need of transcoding a whole movie, allowing me to run through various scenarios more quickly.

Rip your DVD by selecting the chapter you want. It can be done through DVDDecrypter and then encode it with MeGUI.

And if it doesn't need to be a precise chapter (if you're fine scrolling through the movie timeline and select a start and end point) you can also look at the avisynth cutter that is built-in.
