Hi all anyways I havent posted here before. I have never had a problem like this before. I have been ripping movies for yrs in the normal progression svcd , dvdr, vhs dubes, and of course now that I have hdtv and hd sat I have moved to h264 and have done a few via .TRP file. That is transportstream for those that dont know. I use MPEG Streamclip, HDTVtoMPEG2 , DGIndex , meGUI. Sorry about the caps I cut and pasted names anyways I have 2 movies here that no matter what I try I get droped frames or jerky motion, it isnt all the time or maybe it is only really noticable at times where there is alot of motion. Almost think it was interlaced it is 1280x720p 59.940fps they are old movies 1960 and 1967 now I know it isnt the programs when I take a more recent movie or tv show it is fine. There arn"t these problems anyone have any ideas all specks same for more recent tv and stuff. I am burnt from these 2 movies it's driving me nuts thanks ;)

last time i had jerky playback when a video encoded using megui was ff: the spirits within and ff advent children - it did this on a amd box and a intel box.

other than those two films i have not had any issues with anything else megui has done.

you could check if your drives are fragmented, anything running in the background, or if the bitrate is too high, might be your pc is strugling to encode it.

is anything on your system overclocked ?

Nothing over clocked.
Running MCE sp2 on amd athlon 64 x2 4400+ with 3 gig ram
and as for things in the background just the normal things running only program running is megui on fresh install of os.
Fragmentaion is minimal I figured it could have been maybe os for that reason I did fresh install. Everyother thing I have ever done has been fine. I just cant get these 2 movies to work both experince the same problem  and as for my punctuation i was tired and in a hurry hope this makes up for it :sly:
